On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They're going to die today.

Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: There's an app for that. It's called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.

In the tradition of Before I Fall and If I Stay, They Both Die at the End is a tour de force from acclaimed author Adam Silvera, whose debut, More Happy Than Not, the New York Times called "profound.”

I absolutely love the way this book is written. Not only can you connect on such a great level to the characters but you can also see the story line from so many different perspectives. It is definetly a must read

one of the best books I’ve ever read!

reading this book was an emotional rollercoaster, even though the title already told us what was going to happen. I personally loved it and it’s now in my “favourite books” shelf :)

I loved the idea. I loved the concept. I loved the characters. I so loved the writing. I need to say that sadly it was overhyped so I expected much from the book which kind of numbed the experience of the book, so I didn’t cry at the end like everyone says, but the book was fantastic. I highly recommend everyone to read it but d... I loved the idea. I loved the concept. I loved the characters. I so loved the writing.
