Das ist normalerweise kein Genre, das ich lese, aber der Hype darum ging auch an mir nicht vorbei.
Mich hat das Buch sehr gut unterhalten. Ich stimme mit anderen Rezenssionen überein, dass es keine allzu großen Überraschungen gab, allerdings sehe ich aufgrund der Art der Story keinen Grund für Plottwists. Das ist ein Roman, der eine Geschichte eines Lebens erzählt und das ist meiner Ansicht nach sehr gut gelungen. Ich konnte mitfühlen, der Schreibstil hat mir gefallen und ich war sehr interessiert zu wissen, welche Entscheidungen Evelyn als Nächstes trifft. Ich konnte diese gut nachvollziehen, wenn auch nicht gutheißen und das macht einen guten Charakter für mich aus. Ich fand die Story bewegend und sie bleibt definitiv im Gedächtnis.
